The short version: the device check runs in your browser, and we do not build a profile of you.

1. Who we are

2. Information you enter into the device check
The brand, model, network and symptom you select are processed in your browser in order to produce your result.
The check also offers a field for your device IMEI. This field is entirely optional and can be skipped; it does not change your result. The IMEI is only checked locally for the correct length and checksum.
This site does not query the GSMA registry or any carrier database. It cannot see the real blacklist status of a device — only the carrier can. In the current version your answers, including any IMEI you enter, stay in your browser for the duration of the visit and are discarded when you close the tab; they are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Never enter a password or account credential anywhere on this site. The check does not ask for one, and no legitimate service will. If a future version sends any of your answers to a server, this section must be updated to say so before that change goes live.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is retained for a limited period.
4. Third-party content
Some results are accompanied by a video embedded from YouTube, a Google service. When that player loads, YouTube may set cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. See the cookie policy for detail.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not build advertising profiles.
- We do not ask for identity documents.
- We do not share what you enter with manufacturers or carriers.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
